Dr. Fernanda Lonardoni, Head of Country Programme, UN-Habitat
As Head of the UN-Habitat Country Programme in Bahrain and the UAE, Dr. Lonardoni has been integral in shaping policies and advising high-level decision-makers worldwide. Since joining UN-Habitat in 2014, she has contributed significantly to global urban sustainability, with experience at the World Bank and as Coordinator of the World Urban Forum.
Dr. Fay Abdulla Al Khalifa, President, Bahrain Smart City Society
Dr. Al Khalifa leads the Bahrain Smart City Society, promoting sustainable transformation in public and private sectors. Known for her work in smart urbanism, she is Bahrain’s first GRI-certified sustainability professional and earned the Golden Lion award at the 2010 Venice Biennale.
