Eng. Faisal Al-Malki serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Msheireb Properties, Qatar's leading sustainable property developer. Joining Msheireb Properties in 2015, Faisal entered the company during a period of significant growth in Qatar's real estate sector. Faisal was drawn to the company because of its vision to change the way that people think about urban living. With a background in other sectors, he has been able to adapt his skillset and make a significant contribution to the real estate industry.
During his tenure with Msheireb Properties, Faisal has led several key initiatives, most notably Phase 4 of Msheireb Downtown Doha. This phase, which integrated the Msheireb Main Metro station, was completed on time and within budget, underscoring the team's dedication and Faisal's leadership.
Before joining Msheireb Properties, Faisal held senior positions at Qatar Petroleum, including Head of Projects at the Ras Laffan Industrial City and Lead Project Engineer at the Onshore Engineering Department. He spearheaded the Ras Laffan Port expansion, which has become the world's largest hub for gas tankers. His portfolio also includes significant real estate and infrastructure projects such as the New Port Control Tower at Ras Laffan Industrial City and the Safety College at LRC. Another notable achievement was the implementation of jet fuel pipelines to the new Hamad International Airport, a project of immense importance for the airport's operations.
Engr. Al-Malki's experience spans managing portfolios valued at over QAR 40 billion, contributing significantly to Qatar's national development. His expertise extends to various aspects of project management, including strategic leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement.
Engr. Al-Malki holds a master's degree in business administration from Qatar University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tulsa, USA.
